Iceland, March 2025. Our tour guide Willy has made this incredibile journey even more great thank to his stories and knowledge. He showed us and explained us places that we couldn’t ever see by ourself without his help. Willy was always on time, he gave us suggestions about from which stores buy souvenirs. He recommended some of the best restaurants in Reykjavik. Iceland, together with Willy, was an unforgetful journey!

We've visited Iceland four times, mostly basing ourselves in Reykjavík and we've tried availing of the services of many, different tour companies. Embracing Iceland is definitely one of the best and most professional ones. We booked a private, March 2024, half-day Reykjanes peninsula tour directly through them and leading up to the trip, Vilhjálmur has been fantastic at communicating. On time on the day of our tour, we departed from Reykjavík and throughout the trip, Vilhjálmur demonstrated how knowledgeable he is. We got to see a really gorgeous, ortherworldly part of Iceland in a very comfortable vehicle, including the newly formed and still steamy lava fields near the Blue Lagoon from the previous month's volcanic eruption. We really enjoyed the bonus stops too and the scenic detour back to the capital. I only have positive things to say about Embracing Iceland and we'll definitely book tours with them again!

5 of us went on a week's tour during June/July 2023 around Iceland with Vilhjálmur. A very nice, friendly guide whose stories of Icelandic folklore and a terrific knowledge of geology meant that he could explain his country to us. The inclusion of several 'extra visits' during the journey created a totally unforgettable experience. Thank you for sharing your country with us

We took a day tour with Vilhjalmur in Aug. He was a great guide. He has a background in geology so he was really good at explaining Iceland's natural resources. He was very accommodating and his tour ended up being our Iceland highlight with a hike to see the active volcano. I cannot say enough good things about this day and our guide.
